I would have thought the guy who spends most of his time thinking and writing about someone else’s cat would be the most likely to ruin a beer-fest, but it seems there is no correlation between loving others’ cats and ruining other people’s fun. Who knew?

Of course, X-tian could argue that Sparks and Catjjy are a package deal – which would put them over the top on ruining other people’s fun – but I’m not buying that argument. I’m not sayin, I’m just sayin…..

X-tian will get a chance to prove the readers wrong next Tuesday night when he hosts The Hose’s First Annual U.S. Open Beer Summit during the 2nd round of the U.S. Open. Go get em X-tian!!!!

This result is pretty surprising. I knew people liked Manolo for some reason but it was not clear to me that people were into Evil. Was it his preparation? Or is this our very own little Iran?

Having said all that, I think the Bump is out there doing yeoman’s work. Can we give the brother a little respect? Catjjy was loads of fun to record. I learned the most from KillerB so that’s cool too. Basically, we’re all winners, everyone except you the listener! You guys get to keep on suffering! HOORAY

Well, according to the latest Hose Poll, “You” are to blame for the economic crisis. I hope it was worth it. I hope you can deal with a Lost Decade if that’s what it comes to. Meanwhile “Me”, who received 0 votes (Le Trois clearly didn’t vote) is just trying to get by. Get your act together Hosers. Quit screwing the common man. Have some decency.

As we have been discussing, we are starting a American Idol Game on the Hose. For those of you watching American Idol this will be a great way to demonstrate you know more than KillerB #1.

Participating should be straight forward. Just tell in what order you think the remaining contestants will be going home:

With so many collapses headlining the news in 2008 — the financial services industry, the automotive industry, the economy in general, the political career of elliot spitzer, etc. — I guess it’s only fitting that you Hosers voted Evil’s Epic Collapse as our Best Post of 2008. Congrats to Killer B#1 for penning the post and special thanks to ME for providing such good source material.

On a personal note, I will take a page from Evil Twin #2’s book and also resolve to post more consistently in 2009.

What an exciting week it’s been! First Obama, and now KillerB #1 in landslide victories. There’s so much hope for the future.

KillerB #1, it looks like the voters believe you should spend time with your lovely new wife instead of training a puppy, are too cheap to buy you a drink (with the recession and all), and don’t think you need any fashion help.

I’m more than a little surprised at this poll result, but definitely happy to accept it! Xtian and others will deride this poll and its result about being “sad” and/or “desperate.” This was no such thing. I was just seeking the truth here. And thanks to you Hosers, we now know.
